intel haswell 2nd update (pros and cons)

hey bloggers,

I've got some more info on the new Haswell processor!

Apparently, close sources to Intel say that the first Haswell processor is set to be on shelves of stores in June, it is an i7-4765 running at 2 ghz, (can be oc'ed 2.8 on stock cooling) it also is very power efficient running at only 35W TDP, and has a Intel hd 4600 graphics card, which is comparable to a mid range ATi or Nvidia card.

The price will be slightly higher, but take into consider the speed difference and graphics difference as well.

It seems like a new world of possibilities, a 15 second speed up in boot speed, it seems great!

Pros:

- faster than previous
- uses less power
- newer technology (22 nm)
- more efiicient
- works fast as a mac

Cons:
- does not use LGA 1156, USES LGA 1150
- may overheat if not tested properly (dont know too many cons)

As you can see Haswell is a good choice to upgrade if you want to upgrade, but if you have a Core 2 Duo E6600 or older, its about time to upgrade.

Whatever you choose it will be great.

intel haswell update.

hey Bloggers,

Apparently microsoft has pushed back their release of haswell, from march not to june, probably cause they are finishing it up and testing it for problems. As i said in my first post, haswell has a new graphics chip which is stronger, as some say, you wont need a graphics card, which means saving money!

everyone loves money, and also having a faster processor.

well between april to june retailers will be lowering the prices on their ivy bridge processors, i mean blowout prices, but me i would wait until has well, comes out to see what they have to offer.

the new intel haswell chip

hey Bloggers,

it's marsy11 with another blog!

today we are going to talk about the new intel haswell chip by intel.

The new 4 th gen chip by intel is expected to arrive by april 2013, but what does this mean?
the new chip has many improvements from the previous ivy bridge assembly, a 10% upgrade in speed from ivy bridge, and faster clock speed in some cases, a new architecture as well, but the real rave that everyone has been talking about is the dramatically improved graphics, the intel hd 4500 or 5000,          ( i expect) intel says it is compared to a extremely good nvidia or ati radeon card, which is cheaper, and great for gamers, more graphics for a cheaper price, just what intel needs to beat amd, before it was said that intel processor is good but the graphics are bad, but now the tables have turned, buying intel really seems like a win-win situation, i think this will give amd a run for its money, and intel and amd both will ramp up the competitiveness which ultimately means, that they will do anything to get sales, which means lower prices, which everyone likes, from gamers to everyday business people, a revolutionary processor in the running, blistering fast processing speeds! This is honestly what everyone is waiting for. if you are thinking about buying a sandy bridge or ivy bridge, i suggest wait because a major revolution is coming into the technologically revolutionized world, this is a major "tock" as people say just like when nehalem, and sandy bridge, major improvements, i think this is great for people on budgets, like me, because i especially need an upgrade, heck i have an intel pentium d 805, which is 7-8 years old! i just upgraded from xp to 7 last week, so i am in dyer need of a new one. Well anyways enough about me, my last few words to everyone is, to wait for haswell, check the pros and cons and buy wisely depending on what you do or plan to do.

good luck on your choice!
